Donations sought to support no-kill shelter

Donations posterSeveral of the animal lovers on campus are starting a holiday fundraiser for Satchel’s Last Resort, a no-kill animal shelter/sanctuary whose mission is to rescue, rehab and rehome dogs and cats with nowhere else to go because of breed, behavior or medical issues. They are housed on 12 acres on Coash Road in Sarasota. Satchel’s wish list includes canned wet dog and cat food, soft treats, hard bog biscuits, clumping cat litter, laundry detergent and trash bags. No Pedigree products, please.

You can drop off donations to Cook Hall 204 or the Jane Bancroft Cook Library by Dec. 20. If you’d rather make a monetary donation, please make your check out to Satchel’s Last Resort and return to Shelley Wilbur in Cook Hall 204.
