The first-ever virtual Admitted Student Day on April 18 showcased New College in a whole new way: entirely online instead of in person.
A full schedule of events for incoming students, held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., included live question-and-answer sessions, short introductory videos from inspiring professors, and welcome messages from staff and faculty members.
Attendees participated in two interactive information sessions on Zoom: a panel featuring current students sharing their New College experiences, and a presentation by Interim Dean of Student Affairs Randy Harrell. Each session wrapped up with questions and answers. Representatives from admissions and financial aid offices were also available to answer questions via phone and email.
