Beyond Sustainable: Toward a New Tomorrow

Monday, April 22, 2019,5:30 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

Josh Tickell '93

Join filmmaker, 20-year veteran of the environmental movement, and New College Grad Josh Tickell ’93 for “The Emerging New Green Paradigm That Could Save the World, Feed Billions, and Reverse Global Warming,” an inspiring presentation spanning the fields of geophysics, agronomy, climatology, politics and economics.

Josh is a journalist, activist, author, and award-winning film director whose movies — “Fuel,” “The Big Fix “and “Pump,” — have won awards at Sundance and Cannes, been screened in the White House, and seen by over 50 million people worldwide.

Drawing from his latest books, “Kiss the Ground” and “Revolution Generation,” Josh will share a new green paradigm, where a fusion of cutting-edge deep green ecological techniques and new ideologies are creating a “regenerative” global society in which environment, people, and climate are simultaneously nurtured and improved.

The presentation will be followed by Q&A discussion and reception. The event is free and open to the public but space is limited.
