“&”: Intersecting Identities
Friday, April 5, 2019,5:00 pm - 6:00 pm EDT
The CWC is offering an Intersecting Identities narrative-therapy group every Friday at 5:00 PM-6:00 PM, Location is TBD. The Intersecting Identities narrative-therapy group will start on 02/15/19 and run through the rest of the semester. This is a 12-week narrative group that will involve journaling and reflection every week. Group members can expect to engage with the exploration of any of their identities and how they intersect and influence other parts of themselves. Some identities may be in a developmental process, and many may have been marginalized or stigmatized in various ways, either personally or in the larger social context. Identity can be broadly interpreted, including family structure, race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, immigration status, and mental health history or current experience, to name a few. If you have any question about the Intersecting Identities narrative-therapy group please contact the facilitator, Duane Khan, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
