Migration across a Common Border: A Challenge for Mexico and the U.S.

A lecture sponsored by the Sarasota World Affairs Council featuring Gustavo Mohar, founder and director of Grupo Atalaya, a private Mexican consultancy that specializes in nontechnical risk and strategic intelligence. Mohar will discuss how can Mexico and the U.S. can share the responsibility of this enormous challenge of a massive flow of people running from violence and poverty and what can be done to prevent Central Americans from emigrating.
The Sarasota World Affairs Council hosts high-profile foreign affairs lectures covering current international issues ranging from foreign intelligence to peace negotiations to immigration and trade.
