Art Center Sarasota: New exhibitions run Jan. 30-March 6, 707 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Admission is free. 941-365-2032;

New and old technology play a role in the work of two New College of Florida faculty members featured in separate displays as part of four distinct exhibitions opening Thursday at Art Center Sarasota.

Founded in Sarasota in 1960, New College of Florida is the state's only legislatively designated Honors College of Florida.
