New College of Florida’s former student body co-president will screen a documentary he made about racism and struggles black student leaders face across the nation.

Miles Iton, who graduates from New College later this month, will hold a premiere of the 30-minute documentary he directed and appears in, “Sincerely, the Black Kids,” on Saturday at the college’s Sainer Auditorium. The open-to-the-public event will also feature a discussion with subjects from the film, which include students from colleges such as Cornell and Clemson.
