As we come to the close of the fall semester, I want to wish the entire New College community a very happy holiday season. Last Friday, our Student Activities and Campus Engagement Office organized a Holiday Craft Fair featuring student artists and vendors, as well as food, drink, and general merriment. This week, we have many seasonal activities happening around campus:
Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m.
The New College Chorus will perform a concert in the College Hall Music Room that features the music of J.S. Bach, John Bennet, Clement Jannequin, T.L. de Victoria, Bob Chilcott, and Randall Stroope.
Wednesday, Dec. 12, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
The Foundation will host a Holiday Happy Hour for faculty and staff at the Keating Center.
Thursday, Dec. 13, 1-3 p.m.
The Center for Career Engagement and Opportunity will celebrate National Cocoa Day with free hot chocolate and gourmet toppings.
Friday, Dec. 14, Noon to 1:30 p.m.
My office will host the annual Faculty/Staff holiday lunch at College Hall.
I am grateful to every member of this campus community for making New College a wonderful place to teach, learn, live and work. I hope that everyone has the chance to spend time with friends and family during winter break and that you get the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate.
Warmly,
Don
