Mid-Autumn Festival
The New College community will celebrate the full moon at a Mid-Autumn Festival. Falling on the 15th day of the eighth month, according to the Chinese lunar calendar, the Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important festivals observed in China and many other East Asian countries. New College Commencement
Commencement for 2019 graduates will be held at sunset on the College’s historic Bayfront. The Commencement speaker for 2019 will be Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, President Emerita of Spelman College, a clinical psychologist widely known for both her expertise on race relations and as a thought leader in higher education. Day at the Bay
Deposited students, we have an event just for you: Day at the Bay on Saturday, July 20, 2019! Meet your classmates on the Bayfront for water activities, yard games, and a trolley tour of Sarasota.
